The Braves have agreed to a trade to acquire outfielder Justin Upton and third baseman Chris Johnson from the D-Backs for pitcher Randall Delgado, infielder Martin Prado and minor leaguers Nick Ahmed, Brandon Drury and Zeke Spruill, sources tell ESPN.

The deal is pending physicals by players involved.

The Mariners have acquired Michael Morse from the Nationals in a three-team trade.

Oakland landed John Jaso in the agreement.

Washington reacquired pitching prospect A.J. Cole, dealt to Oakland 13 months ago in the trade for Gio Gonzalez. The Nationals also got minor league pitcher Blake Treinen and a player to be named.

Morse was with the Mariners from 2005-08 before he was traded to the Nationals for Ryan Langerhans in June 2009.

"I'm just glad this whole thing has unfolded the way it has," Morse said on a conference call, noting he was aware he might be traded by Washington.

The Pirates have acquired right-handed pitcher Jeanmar Gomez from the Indians in exchange for minor league outfielder Quincy Latimore, according to an Associated Press report on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old Gomez is 14-16 with a 5.18 ERA in 42 major league appearances, including 38 starts. Gomez went 5-8 with a 5.96 ERA in 2012 with Cleveland.
